   Got this for my son. He's single and does all his cooking. Perfect for him. He uses it a lot.  So much so that the trays are already loosing their coating.  To me that should not happen at a year of use. Durability could be better.

   Love my ninja dg551 air fryer. I use it every day. The only bad part is the ridiculous crisper basket. My daughter has one that has a non stick basket. Mine is already turning and possibly rusting.

   My husband and I absolutely love it. We have yet to use anything except the bake and grill features. Food comes out perfectly almost every single time. Only notes are it takes an annoyingly long time to pre heat, even to a medium temp. And if the pieces of meat you throw on the grill aren't close enough to the same size one will be significantly more done than the other. It sucks that there aren't ports for 2 meat probe inputs on the grill. That would be ideal. All in all though, freaking love this thing ????

   Ninja’s customer service is great.

   Would have given the grill 5 stars, but it failed 16 months after purchasing it. We can’t clear the “add food” message after the grill is pre-heated....More

   Would have given the grill 5 stars, but it failed 16 months after purchasing it. We can’t clear the “add food” message after the grill is pre-heated. I guess we will see how good customer service is seeing that it failed 4 months after the warranty expired. Will update this review after I contact Ninja.
   
   Update: Ninja’s customer service was top notch. They sent us a new one even though it is 4 months past warranty. The unit should not fail this soon, but they made it right. All I had to do was pay shipping for the new one.

   Make sure you can get the extra function parts you need before you buy.

   Have only used a couple times so far and like this however, why is it so difficult to obtain accessories for the functions they are selling you on these items. You get a base pan, and the grill plate with the grill package, but you have to become a detective to find a rack for the dehydrator function and also a roast rack. There seem to be several hundred model numbers that all have different sized accessories so you have to purchase separately for your model. Ninja web site is unusable and ridiculous. And yes, the air fry basket is not what is ever pictured, it is a wire basket which no man or woman ever said they want to clean. The “pictured” basket is a special additional purchase. My review of this product is this….It would be a great product if you could actually get the accessories you need to use the functions you bought, but as it is…you have to search and buy separate what you need to use for this because they do not give you what you need and now I know I may never be able to even find the accessories for my model dg551. It’s been frustrating to say the least and by the time I receive the extra ordered pieces I will be beyond the return point when some of these guessed off brand parts ship. Buyer beware.
