Followed directions as to how to unroll. Within the hour it was totally flat and ready to use. No smell at all as it was made in USA.. When you first lay on it it seems very hard. Within a few minutes it softens and forms to your body. A very nice cover came with it. My last serta topper lasted about 9yrs.
It feels like laying on a cloud in heaven being massaged by angels! Ahhhhh. Very pleased!

We bought this for our guest room bed, as the mattress we have is a little too firm for most of our guests. What a difference this makes! It is incredibly cozy and adds a great deal of plushness. I wouldn't say it is particularly cooling, but its not hot either, so it is really perfect.
Since I have back problems we bought a very firm mattress. It was too firm. I bought this memory foam topper and it changed the way we sleep. It is so comfy. It adds just enough softness to give us a perfect night sleep without a backache in the morning.
I think this topper might be what I need for a good nights sleep. I just got it and tried it on a very hard mattress last night....and for the first time in months, it didn't hurt my hips/back in order to sleep. I will give it a few days to get used to and will update this rating but for one night's rating -I will give it 5 Stars.
Love love love! We open the package. Everything went well. We let it set out just in case there were less an odor but it was not. We put it on the bed. It was the best thing we could've done very nice. Would like to buy another one for our other room. Not too soft, just right!
We bought a Serta Gel Memory Foam Topper for a queen bed years ago and loved it. Currently having issues with our king bed so we thought we'd go with the same mattress topper and after reading the reviews for this one we thought it was a no brainer. This mattress topper is way too soft! We've slept on it for 5 nights now and it just feels like mush. I can't imagine how we'd return it because we'd never get it back in the box it came in.
It was a replacement for an old pad. Have slept on it about 3nights and I'm very happy with it.
