This fan is less noisy, moves way more air, and is built more solidly than any small tabletop fan you can buy at any big box store. The metal slide bar that allows you to tilt the fan up and down is solid but very sensitive and has trouble holding the desired position. Would've given 5 stars if not for that one inconvenience. Overall great and would recommend.
